St Marks is closed this week as we are meeting on Zoom only

Sermon – ‘The Priority of Prayer | James Shepley’
15th January 2022:

We are delighted to say that our main church service will re-start at St Mark’s Junior school on Saturday 4th September from 12.00 – 13.00pm, and each Saturday afterwards. To attend, you will need to book in with either Pastor James (jshepley@secadventist.org.uk) or the church clerk (cheltenhamsda@gmail.com). Right now only 40 people can attend, and a number of restrictions are still in place for your safety (mask wearing is mandatory, social distancing, & no congregational singing). Socializing will take place outside after the service, but you are asked to refrain from hugging! Bible Study/ Sabbath school will continue on ‘zoom’ at the same time (10.00 – 11.00am), while the main service can be joined via ‘zoom’, as currently. Looking forward to seeing you soon. God bless, Pastor James.

We will normally meet each Saturday morning in St Mark’s Church of England Junior School, Robert Burns Avenue, Cheltenham GL51 6NU. As usual please click on our Calendar for details of our different events and locations including map and postcode information.

Thanks for taking the time to have a look at the Cheltenham Family Church website; this is a good family to belong to. Children are very welcome, as are non-Christians. We have tried to create a place where you will feel welcome and accepted just as you are.

We are a group of people who try to treat one another with love and care so that we can be honest with each other even when we don’t all have the same views on everything. All of the regular people that come along are at different stages in their Christian lives; we are here to support and encourage each other, sharing God’s love and forgiveness in a friendly environment.

Please feel free to take a look at us either further in this website or just come along one Saturday and meet us. We look forward to meeting you.

Children’s Activities – We have a wonderful, lively bunch of children, currently ranging in age up to 18. We cater for their spiritual and social needs in a variety of ways. Click here to see a list of events over the next few weeks, and if you would like to bring your children to any of our regular events, please contact Mike and Vicky on 07925 858297.
