Notes on Children & Youth Activities

Please check that any particular children’s event is running as scheduled by contacting Mike and Vicky Beamish (07925 858297) beforehand. We endevour to run to the above timetable but on occasions will cancel an event depending on circumstances. All times above are approximate.

Bible Study Hour – Saturday mornings between 10.00am and 11.00am

This is an important time for the children, when they all come together to learn about God. The first 15 minutes is spent with all ages groups together engaging in singing and prayer. Between 10.15am and 11.00am they divide into age groups to learn about Bible Stories and Christian living in age appropriate ways.

FAB (Food And Bible) Friday 5.00pm to 7.00pm

On the second Friday of each month, children of age 8 and upwards meet to enjoy each other’s company, read the Bible, do related craft/drama activities and eat tea! They always have a lot of fun and they talk a lot about the things that they have read in the Bible, and what it means for their lives. Each FAB is eagerly anticipated.

Music Club Saturday (Sabbath) approx 2.00pm to 3.00pm

This happens approximately once a month. It is open to almost all ages and instruments played include, guitars, ukuleles, recorders, violin, viola, flute, keyboard, and percussion. Songs are practiced for enjoyment and for church occasions. Again the children enjoy just being together.

Music Club Sunday afternoons approx 3.00pm to 5.00pm

This also happens approximately once a month for age group 7+; details similar to above.

Winter Party

Each winter, after the festivities of Christmas, the children have a winter party which involves lots of games, food and using up lots of energy. Click here to see them having a thoroughly good time.
